The World Largest Swimming Pool

The World Largest swimming pool is nothing but amazing! This pool is located at the San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo, Chile. It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, has a 115 ft deep end and holds 66 million gallons of water.  The pool is so large that resort guests use kayaks and small boats to move around. A computer controlled filtration system is used to keep fresh seawater in the pool. Seawater is taken in at one end of the pool and then pumped out at the other. South America has always been a fantasias destination I will try my best to make it my next trip ! Argentina, Peru and Chile !

The Most Beautiful Soccer

This Advertising campaign is for Sky network with the topic “The most beautiful soccer is only in HD”. The campaign, developed by 1861 United, Milan, Italy, features a soccer player on on each ad. You can easily find that on one of the ads, there are two looks of each player. Right, two looks indeed. But in different hairstyles and with different weights and different wearing colors. It is interesting to see the players in such two quite different states !

I think this is extremely creative ! I loved that campaign !!

My Trip Highlights: New York “The Big Apple” Review

Known as the “Big Apple” or the “City That Never Sleeps”, New York is a city of superlatives. The City comprises five boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island, and with over 8.2 million residents within an area of 322 square miles, New York City is the most densely populated city in the United States. New York is not only America’s biggest city; it’s also the most exciting. New York is the business and cultural capital. Essentially, it is the nation’s trendsetter. The city seems to pull in the best and the brightest from every corner of the country.

The weather in mid July was warm but the random rain and t-storm cooled the weather during my 5 days stay. Without hesitation I would choose New York to be my favorite city in the world ! because its just my type !

Important notes:

  • Currency:U.S Dollars
  • Visa: Apply at least two months before your planned trip.
  • American Airlines is offering amazing fairs and half of the trip (Kuwait-London) will be via British Airways.

Go there For :

In my opinion new your has the best of everything, I’ve been to all of europe and i’ve been to the major states in the US, but never been so satisfied when it comes to food, shopping and touring ! New York for me at least, is the only city that blend these three travel factors magically !

Shopping – Even with all the attractions and events in New York, nothing beats a day of shopping at the finest stores in the city. Plan a stroll down Fifth Avenue, Soho or through Madison square and be sure to explore famous designer boutiques and art galleries.

The Food – In the city that never sleeps there is plenty of time for dining and unlimited options to choose from. Everything from sushi and dim sum to hot dogs and donuts are available in New York City. You can find a large selection of some of the finest dining with flavors from all around the world in New York.

Touring – Visitors may tour New York simply by walking or in a double-decker bus. There is also a variety of walking tours of specific neighborhoods, as well as self-guided walking tours of historic sites in Manhattan. Brief helicopter tours offer a dramatic view of the Manhattan skyline, as do scenic cruises of New York Harbor. In addition there are many site specific tours including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Radio City, and the studios of the NBC television network.

Don’t miss:

Woodbury Common Outlet
  1. Touring at Soho.
  2. Dining in Meat packing District pick any restaurant there they are all superb! my favorite was “Spice Market”
  3. Attending Broadway Shows “Any Cirque Du soliel show would be great pick”.
  4. Lounging in the Hudson Hotel Lounge.
  5. Have a city tour if you are a first timer.
  6. shop in Madison square
  7. Visit the woodbury Outlet (45 mins from downtown)
  8. have Jog/walk in central park.

Spice Market Restaurant

When to go:

I prefer being there in springs times. because the summer is hot and humid in new york.

Where to stay :

I stayed in W hotel Lexington Avenue. The whole experience was horrible they didn’t clean my room for two nights and when I complained about it to the manager in charge she offered me free breakfast of a cost of 23 dollars as an apology for their mistake !! which was cheap and i consider that as an insult considering the amount i paid for a room. note that I didn’t post any pictures for the W hotel because there is nothing special about it at all.

Hudson Hotel Lobby

I would strongly advised you to stay in Hudson Hotel By morgans. I didn’t stay there in New York but I’ve been to their lounge and I’ve stayed in Morgans hotels in four different destinations and every single hotel  of these was outstanding. But you should always put in mind that the hotel rooms in Manhattan are all tiny.

The Cycle Of Life (Tiny Little Story)

There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village.
As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite few big fish.
The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, “How long does it take you to catch so many fish?”
The fisherman replied, “Oh, just a short while.”
“Then why don’t you stay longer at sea and catch even more?” The businessman was astonished.
“This is enough to feed my whole family,” the fisherman said.
The businessman then asked, “So, what do you do for the rest of the day?”
The fisherman replied, “Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink — we play guitar, sing and dance throughout the night.”

The businessman offered a suggestion to the fisherman.
“I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network. By then, you will have moved out of this village and to Sao Paulo, where you can set up HQ to manage your other branches.”

The fisherman continues, “And after that?”
The businessman laughs heartily, “After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich.”
The fisherman asks, “And after that?”
The businessman says, “After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!”
The fisherman was puzzled, “Isn’t that what I am doing now?”

The Little Black Book

The Little Black Book Case from Pad and Quill is available for iPhone 4 ,iPhone 3GS and for the Ipad’s.  The case looks like a Moleskine notebook with it’s simulated black leather exterior and black elastic closure.  Inside is a wood frame to cradle the device that should keep your fingers from touching the iPhone 4′s antenna,  The controls and charging port are accessible while the device is in the case.  Pictures on the website show the case being used as a horizontal stand and show people accessing the touch screen while the device is in the case, but I’m not sure how easily you could use the phone function unless you always use a headset.  If you have a deep love for Moleskine notebooks, you can get the Little Black Book Case by clicking here.
